Sadly cancer still claims far to many lives each year. The reality is there is still a long way to go to saying that we are winning the war, but what we can say without a doubt is that we will win the war. Its not an if but when.
As we enter the age of AI it can sometimes feel like we are living in a sci-fi movie with advancements in cancer treatment feeling like daily news.
And that’s why I wanted to set up this news site. I want to report on the cutting edge science, improvements in detection and new treatments changing lives for the longer. But we can’t pretend it’s all good, we hear stories of people fighting for tests, waiting unbearable lengths for treatment as well as endless rumours of miracle drugs that are not tested, some meant for animals, and some plain dangerous.
I hope to make this news site a trusted voice. I am not a doctor nor do I claim to be medically trained but as an independent journalist I promise to be careful, precise and honest. I will always do deep research and where possible try to get opinions from the experts in the story.
